Larry Myers, Owner of Peter's HardwareLarry Myers was born and raised in Greenacres Spokane Valley, where he attended Progress Elementary and Greenacres JR High school, graduated from Shadle Park High School, then attended both and graduated from Spokane Falls Community College and Eastern Washington University.

Larry and his wife, Molly, purchased their first home in the Audubon area near his current store, River Ridge Hardware, but now reside by Long Lake (Lake Spokane), where he enjoys anything and everything water sports. Boating, water skiing, sailing, swimming, and more! When he isn’t greeting you at the door of your favorite local hardware store, you can find Larry enjoying water activities or spending time with his two daughters, Alisha and Hailey.

In April of 2021, Gary Peters passed the Peters Hardware ownership to Larry Myers, who had known about the quality of Peter's name and the great hardware store.

Larry Myers remembers riding his bike as a child from His family home in Greenacres Spokane Valley past Peters Hardware towards the University Shopping Center. He feels grateful to own a store that has such an obvious impact on its local customers and other small businesses alike.

Because Larry took ownership of Peters Hardware during the pandemic, he made it a priority to assess the community's needs and shop locally to support each other wherever possible. Larry knew it was important to carry on the traditions of Bill Peters as he supported the Spokane community during the great depression.

Larry’s hope for you when walking through the doors of Peters Hardware is to feel welcomed and invited to ask questions.

“We are neighbors wanting to help our neighbors, and we want to know you by name.” -Larry.
